We are a praying church. We are open during the week for prayer and worship at the following times.
Tuesdays – 10:00 AM WOW Women’s Prayer, 11:00 AM Prayer For Israel, 12:00 PM Upper Room Prayer
Thursdays – 11:00 AM-12 noon Live Worship Set
Fridays – 9:00 AM Mediation on The Word
College Ministry
We are located in a college town- JBU is right down the street. We want our college students to plug in to our church family and know how important their role is within the bride of Christ. Our homes (and dinner tables) are open and our college ministry is growing. We’re excited for where the Lord is leading and how He is calling us to minister to and with college students.
Youth Ministry
Ascend Youth exists to see young people love and connect with Jesus as their Savior and Lord. We aim to create a culture where youth can not only have tons of fun, but can learn who they are and acquire the skills necessary to form crucial relationships outside of their family unit. We also intend for them to be thoroughly discipled and brought up to cherish God’s Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
The goal is to raise up healthy, empowered young men and women who leave home with the vision to impact their community- wherever they are sent or land.
Please remember to pray for us as you are led. These youth are the future ones who will be responsible for our families, our nation, and the out-working of God’s Kingdom to come!
Children's Ministry
We believe that children are called by God and a vital part of our church body. From our nursery classes through 6th grade, we strive to help children encounter and fall in love with Jesus. Our hope is that children will know and understand:

Evangelism
Our goal is to equip each child to live a Kingdom-focused lifestyle of prayer, worship, spiritual warfare, and fasting to fulfill the purpose God has called them to. To help each one encounter Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him-to really know Him and be passionate about their love for Him. To find Him in the ordinary, everyday.
Our hope is that we can come along side parents with resources and guides to assist them in this wonderful responsibility to educate and disciple their children.
Men's Ministry
Ascend Men’s Ministry meets Tuesdays at 6:00AM
Our Men’s Ministry is made up of sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, grandfathers (and even some great grandfathers) who love Christ and have a passion to become the men and spiritual leader He wants us to be. We seek to inspire and encourage each other as we follow the greatest man, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Women's Ministry
One of the things we love the most about Ascend Church is the wide range of ages in our church family, from teens to great-grandmas. This gives us lots of opportunities to share our lives together, seek friendship and advice, and help during life changes. We do this through women’s get-togethers (Ladies Night Out), Prayer Groups (WOW: Women of War), Bible Studies, getting together over coffee, and even delivering a timely casserole. We pursue understanding God’s calling on our lives, and His purposes in all we do.
Freedom & healing ministry
Freedom and Healing ministry is our inner healing and prophetic deliverance ministry based upon anointed forgiveness and divine revelation of God’s truth to an individual. The result is a new freedom which enables us to experience deeper relationship with the Lord (the First Commandment – Matt. 22:37) and to walk forth in our true identity.
